      Tiny Town

      We're goin' to Tiny Town.
Where all the people are found.
      We're goin' to Tiny Town.
      We're gonna turn it around.

      The little people there.
      They never have a care.
      But they ain't goin' nowhere.
      They're living in despair.

      Over in Tiny Town.
      The tiny people abound.
      Tiny husbands and tiny wives.
      Living out their tiny lives.

      Tiny girls and tiny boys.
      Playing with their tiny toys.
They don't care, they party all night.
Gettin' high so they can make it right.

      We're goin' to Tiny Town.
Where all the people are found.
      We're goin' to Tiny Town.
      They're gonna learn it now.

      Over in Tiny Town.
      They put the president down.
They say he's just a clown.
      He just keeps hangin' around.

They're all a bunch of bores.
They fight their own tiny wars.
Then they close all the doors.
If they don't wanna hear any more.

      Over in Tiny Town.
      The tiny people abound.
      Tiny husbands and tiny wives.
      Living out their tiny lives.

      Tiny girls and tiny boys.
      Playin' with their tiny toys.
They don't care they party all night.
Gettin' high so they can make it all right.

      We're goin' to Tiny Town.
Where all the people are found.
      We're goin' to Tiny Town.
      We're gonna turn it around.

      To Me...

      In a life filled with
      wonders and marvels

        I pondered...

      what else there could be...

      And then there was you
      another brand new

        wonder...

      and marvel to me...

      Token To Yourself

Rock and Roll you had control,
but anymore it's all the same to me.
Rock and Roll you had control,
but anymore it's all the same to me.

      Music in the morning,
      came in without warning.
Led the children to the fountain,
but you know they didn't count then.

      Music for the generation.
      Music for their celebration.
They listened to you sing about
the truth that you were bringing out.

They were looking for an answer,
      taking any chance to
      escape their fathers cancer;
      for themselves.

      Their morals were all broken.
Their grief was all but spoken.
Their beliefs were but a token
      to your self.

      Thanks Given

      Give thanks today
      for family, friends,
      fellowship, and fortune.

      All of which lend
      joy and challenge
      to our lives.

      And make us
      the better for it.

      They Shot Me Down

      Hey, Hey, Hey....
      This is the day
      they shot me down.
      Yea, early days.

      Ah..., early days.
      I can remember
I was living on the town,
      bringing you around.

Yea, but you weren't looking at me,
      just reaching for my liberty.
I only looked at you then and said, "I don't care,
you aren't going anywhere I haven't already been."

      Early days, early days,
      early days, early days.
I got you! Got you right in the head.
You got me! You got me; I'm dead.

      Hey, Hey, Hey....
      This is the day.
      Hey! They shot me down.
I'm living on the town; bringing me down.

Didn't know that it would turn you
when I took you out to learn you
Just to make it on your own.
      Early days, early days.

Now I wonder if I can
take, or even fake, a stand.
Hey, Hey, Hey.... This is the day.
      Hey! They shot me down.

Thank you for keeping my thoughts alive.

An astute writer once advised all readers: "If you are reading and come upon a word which you do not know the meaning of, immediately, go to the dictionary and find out. Else you might well miss the single most important message in the book!"

I believe this advice could indeed apply to every aspect of our lives.
